team. We are very proud to have been named as a finalist
in both the Lithgow business awards and the NSW hardware
industry awards last year. Since winning the award for the
best Hardware store in NSW in 2001, we have been a
finalist on 3 other occasions. Not bad for our little
store in the country if we do say so ourselves.
Our team takes great pride in offering our
customers friendly helpful service. We would all like to
thank our customers for helping to make this a great place
to shop and work. The atmosphere is always friendly and
relaxed.
I guess we must be doing something right
if we are still going strong after 100 years.

Brendan Shoard.
 Brendan
joined our team in October 2005 as a weekend Point of Sale
Operator in our Hardware department.
He quickly proved himself a great member of our team and
in June this year he became a full time trainee in our
paint/hardware department giving much need help to Brenda.
He has acquired many skills in the hardware department and
is only too willing to help customers in every aspect of
the store.
Brendan has a happy nature and you'll always be able to
hear him on the floor wherever he is.
